Investing in our people

Safer Roadworks aims to guide new local unemployed personnel into our industry; to invest, train and support them to achieve success in their new career, as well as continue to support the professional development of all our existing personnel to help them advance. We aim to engage with the people within our workforce, create and maintain a diverse and equal workplace, continually monitor our systems and processes to ensure a safe working environment and encourage a healthy lifestyle for all.

Supporting our suppliers and innovation

Safer Roadworks aims to support local suppliers and businesses to help stimulate more local economic growth, we aim to reduce our invoicing time to pay suppliers more promptly, we aim to increase or spending with more SME’s and ensure our values on modern slavery are adopted throughout our whole supply chain.

Reducing our carbon footprint

Safer Roadworks are fully accredited to ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management Systems, we aim to set and achieve ambitious objectives that reduce our carbon footprint and our emissions to assist the world in creating a cleaner and greener place to live and work, we ensure that we are using our materials from sustainable sources, we aim to reduce our water consumption, our waste consumption, our fuel consumption and we aim to continually aim to recycle as much as possible.

Transforming our local communities

Safer Roadworks understands that we have a responsibility to our local community where we work and operate, we make sure that we are good neighbours and try to keep disruption to a minimum, we want to listen and connect to our local community, carry out, encourage, and support our team in charity work to help give back to the people in our community that are most in need.
